Mason Keels '20 Recruiting Profile

Team first...always!  My head coach freshman year had a "Team before Self" shield put on our varsity jerseys and I still live by this on and off the field.  I believe that my most important traits are my work ethic and that I'm extremely coachable.  I am a well rounded player that has played at all levels of the sport from a small town rec and club team to ECNL/NPL.  I have learned something from all of these coaches and that has made me the very versatile player I am today.  I am a high character player that is the son of a 24 year Air Force veteran dad and old school Portuguese mother that have taught me the values that I live by.  I have one speed and I go hard every possession.  I would love to return to the high school level to teach and coach and mentor young men in the sport of soccer, but I plan on playing at the highest level that my talent and ability will take me.
