Hey, I'm Antonio Mestanza and I aspire to play college soccer. I'm an extremely disciplined and determined individual both on and off the pitch, having been able to maintain my number one rank in school while also playing soccer for my school and club team. I've been in club activities since middle school, so I know how to work with my teammates as well as be able to be a leader when needed, as proven by my involvement in varsity orchestra and varsity cross country, as well as my involvement in the biomedical and math groups of my school (HOSA and MuAlphaTheta). I hold high expectations for myself both academically and athletically have made me more responsible in terms of scheduling, planning, and preparing for events, deadlines, and games, as well as more efficient with my time.
Having played soccer since I can remember, I've garnered a solid understanding of the basics of the sport, such as ball control, vision, and positioning, as well as experience in almost every position on the pitch. While not the tallest in the midfield, my presence is definitely felt, with my high stamina, aggressive marking, and quick passing being my best attributes. My true love and passion for the sport in addition to my disciplined and team-oriented view towards the sport are why I can be a great fit for a college soccer team.
