Gabriel Naudin '14 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in schools with an excellent reputation, competitive athletics programs and recognized academic programs in my chosen field of study. As I enter my Senior year at Cy Woods HS in Cypress, TX., I am looking forward to my final club soccer run and my final varsity season having been selected captain of the varsity team.  My overall grade average is 86.5,  and I am taking college preparatory classes including Physics, English and World History .  I have decided on a major area of study at this point and I am leaning towards broadcast journalism or sports marketing.

Regarding my style of play; I see myself as a play maker out on the wing that can create scoring opportunities for the strikers. 
I have the ability to score when needed and know when to distribute/when to clear. I do feel my movement off the ball is a strength and I have a great feel for the game. I get involved offensively with runs and I am not afraid to defend in the box. I have pace, can beat players on the ball and have excellent field vision. I am an impact player and a team leader, chosen as Captain by my peers.

Participating in collegiate soccer is a goal I have had since I was in middle school and I am highly motivated to achieve my objective. I know that my love of the game will continue to allow me to develop my soccer talents at the next level and help me  to attend the college of my choice. I believe my academic standing should qualify me for scholarship assistance while I continue my education and preparations for the future.
