Soccer has been my life since my older brother and I started playing in pre-school. We have each played
on soccer teams every year since. My brother graduated from Texas Lutheran University in May 2019
and I'm in the process of graduating from Arizona Western College with an AA degree in May 2020.
Now it's time for me to transfer to a school where I can continue playing soccer as I study for a MS
degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science. I think this would prepare me for work as a Strength and
Conditioning Soccer Coach. Dedicated to getting my job done right! I'm always working to improve as a
team player and as a person. Arizona Western has given me a valuable opportunity to improve my
soccer performance while studying.
When I arrived at AWC in the summer of 2018, we were known as the underdogs, even though we had a
lot of talented individuals.
Our team went on to break a school record, winning the West District Soccer Championship for the first
time in the history of AWC. This also led to AWC’s first appearance in the NJCAA Championship
Tournament.
All these matches have taught me to keep trying, no matter the circumstances. Never give up on life. I
intend to keep that mindset as I follow my soccer career.
