Axel Jimenez '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a resilient, disciplined, reliable, athletic, and competitive goalkeeper. My strong character and work ethic have led me to earn my spot on the top team in my region. After 4 years at the club, at age 15, I was selected to move up to the U20 fully funded team. Shortly after, I was invited to practice with the pro first team. By playing with the best players in the city, I gained valuable experience that has helped me grow as a player and as a person. In addition to perfecting my strengths, I also develop my weaknesses through additional training 3 times a week. As a result of my commitment to academic excellence, I have maintained a 4.0 unweighted GPA, as well as being top 1% in my class of 796 peers. In my efforts to build a better community, I also volunteer and hold various officer positions in community service clubs at my high school. I also work as a coach for young goalkeepers in the club, passing on my knowledge, experience, and passion for the position. I am confident that my experience and personality will enable me to exceed expectations inside and outside the field on a competitive college soccer team.
