Cameron Skiles '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cameron Skiles and I have been playing soccer ever since I was three years old. As long as I can remember, I have aspired to play at the best of my ability, and hopefully, play at the collegiate level. I currently attend Wakeland High School in 2023 graduating class.

In middle school, I got all A's as well as the occasional B. This year, I am taking PAP Biology, PAP Geometry, GT Humanities, PAP Spanish II, Varsity Orchestra, AP Human Geography, and Soccer. In 7th and 8th grade, I was in NJHS(National Junior Honors Society) and I plan to join NHS in my junior year of high school because it teaches me how important giving back to the community is. I am in DECA because it teaches me important information regarding marketing and promotions. as well. For the past year, I have set my mind on majoring in Sports Marketing in college. To me, it is very interesting how different teams around the world promote themselves, such as social media.

I have excellent ball-handling skills, I love doing skills to get passed my opponents. I read the game very well, and I am one of the best passers on my team. I am a winger ro outside midfielder, and I am extremely unselfish with the ball. My ultimate goal is to help my team win every match, so to me, assists are as important as goals are. I am a leader on and off the pitch, urging my team to play at 100% until the final whistle blows.

I am extremely interested in playing soccer in college, but I am also interested in finding a strong academic school that fits my athletic and academic needs.
