Yair Gonzalez '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Yair Gonzalez, I have been playing forward and attacking midfield over the course of my soccer career. 

Being 6’0, I am comfortable playing in all positions but am extremely adaptable and often play center defensive mid when they put me there. My strengths are ,Game intelligence, shot power,Passing and receiving . I believe it’s important to be a Effective communicator, encouraging my teammates to stay calm in stressful situations on/off the field. 

My parents are both from Mexico, so I grew up with a huge love for soccer, from watching my brothers play to also watching it on the small tv we had at that time, made me fall more in love with the sport.

playing soccer is life for me ever since I was little, but if I doesn't goes as plan, I would love to study Electrical Engineering. :)
