Andrew Rosen '25 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has played an important role in my life and I’m looking to continue my journey at the collegiate level. The sport has allowed me to travel throughout the US, as well as overseas to Germany and Spain. I was most recently invited to play in Mexico by two clubs of Liga MX, but have made the decision to continue to pursue my academic and athletic career here in the States. 

I’ve played for the BVB International Academy and have been the captain of my team for the past four years. I’ve also been a part of the North Texas ODP team and a regional selection in each of those years. I will have played Varsity for all 4 years during my high school career and the starting goalkeeper for 3 of those. 

I feel my greatest strength is as a captain and leader of our team. I enjoy bringing everyone together and the success we’ve continued to have as a result of that. I would say my best goalkeeping qualities are communication, footwork, and distribution; including my play out of the back and launching counterattacks.
