Jayden Farias '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jayden Farias and I am currently a Junior at Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas. Currently, I am apart of the 2022-2023 Legacy Soccer Varsity team and I am also the captain for my club soccer team. 

I am looking for a college with a great academic pathway for my future while also an opportunity to play at the next level in soccer. I believe I have the talent and smarts to compete at the next level in college while also maintaining a high GPA in college as well. I strongly believe that my leadership and character skills as an individual would impact soccer programs positively and fit well with many different programs throughout the country. 

My skillset is very diverse and I could do great things on and off the ball. I am also a very versatile player having played positions from centerback, right back, and left back to playing positions like center mid, outside mid, and striker as well. As being the captain I have had to step up and get the team together to work for the overall goal which is to win and I feel like my leadership skills have done us well so far in the Frontier League, as well as being in D1 Classic League.

In high pressure situations I have been known to stay calm while reading the field to develop a good pass. A part from being seen as a leader, I am also known as being someone who is committed and has the desire to keep fighting through a bad game, and also someone who is coachable and takes teaching well from others. 

I am looking forward to all of the amazing possibilities that may be presented in the future.
