My goal is to be successful not only on the field but as well as off the field. I stay up to date with my assignments and am a scholar-athlete, always finding time for academics first. I aspire to play collegiate soccer and will be committed and dedicated to it, no matter what events are thrown at me.
I can read the game well and adapt to situations that are happening. My vision is something I like to think of as my strongest point, as well as my defensive traits. I have good acceleration and can take off if someone plays me a through-ball or if I have to recover. What I lack in 1v1 skills I make up is my movement off the ball. I am always scanning the area, knowing where I could be when a ball is being played somewhere else on the field. Using my weak foot is a strong trait I have and being under pressure is something I can handle. I am good at communicating off the ball, wether it be organizing the backline, calling for the ball, or helping a teammate know what is going on during a play.
In the classroom, I am an academically gifted student, and my grades reflect that. In 2019, I was selected by Duke University Talent Identification Program and was given state-wide recognition. I am good at handling sports in the classroom and very good at time management and organization. I have not taken the ACT or SAT, but I've taken the PSAT and I got 1130. I am looking into taking one of these tests during the spring of 2023.
