I am a senior in High School and have been around soccer my whole life which is where my love for the game comes from. I am a self-driven individual and passionately pursue my goals. This drive allows me to receive instruction and continually push myself to be better and seek challenges that force growth both personally and in my play.
My training and experience in Futsal over the years has formed the style in which I play on the field today. Futsal has taught me how to be calm on the ball while also moving it with speed and confidence. My strength in reading the game and ability to move the ball allows me to create opportunities for my teams. Those lessons have also taught me to be a well-rounded player and one that can play many positions on the field. I primarily play OM and OB, and am comfortable on either side of the field, and the fact that I am left footed has helped provide versatility on the teams in which I play.
Off the field, I apply the same drive and work ethic to my academics, I currently maintain a 5.07 GPA on a six point scale. Along with school, I hold a part-time in food service as a shift lead. I am an active member in my church and participate in volunteer work when my schedule allows for it.
My plan is to attend college and study in the field of mechanical engineering. Both of my parents attended college and it would be a great accomplishment to be the first in my family to play a collegiate sport.
