Pedro Yanez '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Pedro Yanez  I’m a 2024 graduate from the Rio Grand Valley. I’m playing High school and Club soccer. I am currently playing for Valley view High School and club soccer with Mcallen YSA Lobos Fc. My freshman year with valley view is something that i will always be grateful for. I received district and All area newcomer of the year and made it to the state semi finals. In my sophomore year I had 30+ goals and won distrcit and was also named Disrict MVP.  I finished my  junior year where  I had 20+ goals and won district again. In club soccer theese past years my team and I have participated in the frontier conference placing 3rd last year and made it back to back state winning it twice as well. That has earned us to play and be part of the National league P.R.O . I am a strong, physical, quick player who has a high IQ of the game and always looks to finish the ball or create scoring opportunities as well. I am very competitive and I am always looking for ways to improve on and off the field. I consider myself a leader who always wants the best for my teamates and for the team. My  goal for the future is to attend and play collegiate soccer and later play professional soccer as well.
