Soccer has been apart of my life since I was under four years. What started out as recreational fun and exposure to strong role models seeped into a desire and passion for the game. That drive came most apparent after a devestating knee injury that required two surgeries and over two years of physical therapy. Doctors telling me that I would never play again made me long to just step on the field again and left a burning hole in my heart, yet I made it. That's what I bring with me to a team. Desire, passion, and a never-say-never attitude.
While soccer was always a skill of mine, it didn't take long to realize I was well suited in academics as well. I push myself to learn and absorb knowledge, to better myself and my future through hard work now. The promise of soccer never strayed away from my school and learning life. I push myself to stay focused on and off the pitch. My current goals for college are to graduate with a degree in finance, business or even dentistry. I am still very open to my future and see college as my next step to a promising and challenging future.
