Shayan Bajwa '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi im Shayan and i wish to play soccer at the college level. Unlike a lot of other people i did not start playing soccer until 7th grade and even then i did not make the team during 7th or 8th grade rather i practiced and played at a local elementary schools park with some other people that became my friends. After i tried out for my 8th grade soccer team (first colony middle school) and  i was not picked, which i was sad about , but my coach told me i was one person away from making the team and that i should try in high school. Nonetheless i tried for the Clements high school team and made JVB during freshman year and now after moving, go to Fort bend Travis and made JVA in sophomore year. I also am proud to say that i started all games and played majority of the time if not all of each game. I practice almost everyday at home and in the park and am hoping to make varsity next year. I have decided that by next year i will have to improve a lot to make varsity and so thats why i will keep practicing and hopefully by senior year will be one of the best!
