Personal Statement

I have pursued my interest in soccer since I was 4 years old, playing in both club and high school teams at the highest level available in San Antonio. During my high school years I have maintained a strenuous club,  school and private practice schedule along with my academics and other extracurricular activities. I am the starting keeper for my high school (both junior and senior year) and I am finishing out my last year of club in the ECNL league playing for SA City. My club highlight performance was helping our team to win the NYC cup in 2018 without conceding a goal. I have a high level of technical and athletic ability and a versatile playing style with a focus on playing out from the back, distribution, positional awareness and active organization of the defense.  I am dedicated to continuing my goalkeeping ambitions into college, where I hope to combine a high level of soccer with a degree in computer engineering or similar area of study.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
