My passion for soccer started when I was 10 years old playing for my local rec team. I was able to train year-long, participating in soccer summer camps. My years in cross country and track in middle school prepared me to make the mile in under 5:45 minutes. One of my greatest accomplishments was being the only freshman to make varsity that year. It was during this time I became more disciplined and committed to playing soccer in college. This is the reason why I have been commuting 4hr roundtrips each week since the Fall of 2019 to train and play with soccer clubs outside of my hometown. In summary, this provides insights into the level of dedication I bring to the team.
I am an attacking midfielder who enjoys controlling the midfield and setting up plays to score. My strengths are one-touch passing, dribbling, and switching the field of play. I want to play at the highest level that I can and that is why I set high standards for myself. My strong work ethic and self-discipline have allowed me to be successful so far. Academically, I want to pursue a medical career. I am enrolled in Advanced Placement classes and have a 3.5 GPA. In the end, I plan to attend a college that offers me an opportunity to play soccer while pursuing a career in medicine.
