My name is Jorge Alvarado and I'm a class of 2015 from Waller High School in Waller, Texas. My NCAA ID# is 1409824465. By January 2015, I currently have a 3.41 GPA, SAT Score of 850 and ACT of 18, and ranked 122 out of 335 and taking Biology and English Advanced classes in my Senior year. I started playing competitive soccer at the age of 9 years old for Texas Premier Soccer Club. Currently, I'm playing for the academy of CF Monterrey  Rayados USA State Classic in Houston. I have been selected  to practice with the youth program of Club de Futbol Monterrey Rayados in Mexico. I have experience in all the mid and defense positions. On my club team, I am the connector and play maker. I play mid and wing in both sides. I have good turns, a soft touch and I'm ambidextrous so I can use both my feet very well for quick passing to feet and into space. I have excellent depth perception. This skill has helped me develop the ability to send long balls very accurately. I am very comfortable with the ball at my feet and make good decisions under pressure. I stay focused at all times and communicate well on the field. I pride myself in playing quickly in transition and causing stress for defenses. I am a leader who demands the ball in order to assist my team to control the flow of play. My strongest abilities are creativity, balance, agility, quickness, strength and endurance. I push myself at every practice and I am very coachable. Communication is very important to me. For my High School, in this Senior year season I have 4 goals and 7 assists; playing attacking mid, holding mid, or wing. I was named to the FIRST TEAM ALL-DISTRICT in Spring 2014 for my High School and current varsity Captain with Coach Tino Albarran. My dream is to play professionally. My goal in college is to play at the highest level as possible and attend a graduate program.
