Imran Kukolj '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Imran Kukolj.

I play the 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

I am currently a Center Back for Sparta United E64/NL PRO, and a Center Back / Holding Midfielder for the Varsity program at  Salt Lake Academy High School (UT). I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I was raised in Bosnia, where I grew up playing in the streets with my friends, which made my passion blossom and I fell in love with the game more and more every day. 

Growing up, I played for professional academies such as Velez FK and Zeljeznicar FK, where I was taught to prioritize technique and tactical intelligence.

I moved to the U.S. in 2019, joining Premier side La Roca. I rose through the ranks at La Roca, reaching the National League team in 2020-2021, followed by the ECNL team in 2021-2022. In 2023, I moved to Sparta United Soccer Club, where we actively compete in the E64/NLPRO leagues and travel the US for various competitions. 

Outside of soccer I indulge in playing the piano, chess, and traveling. I want to pursue a career in Bioengineering / Biotechnics.
