Richard Ruiz '20 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to play professional soccer, and I will do anything to achieve this. Of course, education is a must-have and I plan to get a resourceful degree and have a backup plan for after soccer. Throughout my life, I've had the opportunity to try out and play soccer in the Netherlands and Colombia, but am incredibly happy playing soccer at Real Salt Lake Academy, one of the best academies in the nation. These experiences have incredibly aided in my development as a player and given me many life lessons in general. Recently, I've played defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, left back, and left center back, and enjoy improving all parts of my game. I look forward to working hard with any team in my future, wherever it may be.
