Oliver Crowley '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a left-footed, dominant player with a strong preference for playing both center-back and wing-back positions. I currently play for Utah Avalanche 09 Boys ECNL, ranked #3 in the country, as well as for the USL U20 Utah Red Wolves. I have been recognized by Youth Soccer Central (YSC Official) as one of the top U16 players in the nation and was also named one of the top players to watch at the ECNL Boys Las Vegas Showcase in January 2025 by Top Drawer Soccer. Additionally, during the recent ECNL West Super Cup, I was identified by Prep Soccer as one of seven standout players of the tournament, despite playing three years above my age group.

With nine years of club soccer experience and seven years in the ODP program, I have consistently competed at the highest levels. I have participated in the ODP Region IV Championships for the past four years and was selected to the ODP Region IV team in August 2023. In January 2024, I had the opportunity to represent my region at the ODP Inter-Regionals in Orlando, Florida. That same year, I was named to the 2009 ODP National Team. Additionally, in 2022, was one of only two Utah-based players invited to join the RSL Academy U13 team at the prestigious Dallas Cup. I have also participated in trials with Real Salt Lake, Austin FC, and Colorado Rapids.

Throughout my career, my coaches have consistently praised my leadership, coachability, technical skill, and work ethic. As a center-back, I am known for my vocal presence and ability to organize the defense. I remain composed under pressure, and my technical proficiency allows me to effectively escape tight situations. My passing accuracy, whether short or long-range, is a strong asset, enabling me to make both simple passes and direct balls over the top with precision. Additionally, I am highly proficient at pushing forward from the back, often overlapping as a full-back or center-back, and delivering accurate crosses into the box.
