My goals are to receive both an academic and athletic scholarship to play soccer at a four year college or university. I am interested in pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Below is part of a "player of the month" write up my coach wrote for my premier clubs newsletter regarding my character and playing abilities.
"Grant, as a veteran Heat player, has demonstrated the work ethic, values, character, and competitive spirit that Highline seeks to bring out in its players. Throughout the years, time and again, he has established himself as a huge asset to his team and to Highline, both by making big saves and by being a great leader. As one of two goalkeepers on his team, Grant has earned the respect of his teammates and matured naturally into a leadership role on the team. When asked about what makes Grant such an asset to the Heat ’00 team, Coach Jacob Gordon replied: 'Grant’s dedication to constantly improve his game, his eagerness to be a leading voice on the team, and his affable personality contribute to the effective influence he has on the team. Without Grant’s commitment to becoming the best player he can be, and inspiring his teammates to do the same, as well as his game-changing performances, the Heat ’00 would not have had such successful back-to- back seasons.'"
