Michael Aleman '16 Recruiting Profile

My greatest ambition is to play soccer at a college level and move forward from there. I set a goal and work my hardest to reach that goal and succeed. I work hard in all my classes and I stay on top of my work to be sure I am passing all my classes. I maintain the best attitude everywhere I go and I do what I can to help and motivate people on and off the field. I want to play soccer in college as well as study into the mechanics field. I'm good with my hands and I stay productive at all times. So far throughout my high school career I have played on the varsity team for my school. I'm always attending practice and always working to improve. I give my 100% in everything I do and I'm ways sure I pull through with my word. Soccer has always been my ambition since the age of 7 and I truly plan to play through the rest of my life. I have practiced with various club teams and select teams but have not been able to join due to financial issues within the family. Regardless, I don't allow it to put me in a major set back. I always find a way to train and practice everyday and improve on how i play. My Freshman year i played varsity for the school team but i was not a starter. My Sophomore i played varsity as a starter for the school's team and now I am currently a starter for my school's team as a Junior playing at the right wing. I am a great attribute to my team on corners and free kicks as well as sending through balls and creating openings for my team. I am also quick thinker when playing as a forward as well as midfield. I find joy in scoring goals but i never forget that i have a team. I'm able to skillfully settle and maintain the ball at my feet and I'm always sure I am aware of my team mate's locations. I believe my field awareness is exceptional as well as my IQ in game play.I have a burning passion to play at the highest level and everyday I hope to take a step closer to reaching my goal.
