Personal Statement
A story that describes me:
When I was an incoming Freshman, I went to the West Coast I.D. 50 Camp. I experienced playing and training in an extremely competitive environment with several college coaches studying my every move. It was past 110 degrees every day and all of the goalkeepers were sunburned by the end of the first day. Each day the other campers and I played for 11 hours in the sweltering heat. This, as an experience, humbled me and showed me the work level to perform and succeed in Soccer and reach the College level. I have dreamed of playing on a College team since I started playing premier soccer many years back. I try to work harder on and off the field than every player around me. Extra field training, Goalie training, weights, core workouts, and water polo are my main ways of working off the field to prepare and progress me as an athlete. All of these collectively build my skill set and make me the best goalkeeper, teammate, and player possible so I can continue achieving my dream to play collegiate and hopefully professional soccer.
