Personal Statement
- Soccer is my passion and my dream. I dedicated hours and hours to soccer, training almost every day of the week, improving in different areas. Meanwhile, I also value discipline, organization, and focus, which is critical for soccer. I am an honest person, and I strive to improve in the game I love most.
- What makes me a good candidate for the team is that I have experience playing with players 1-2 years older than me. For example, I played as a 2004 player on the 2003 A team at PacNW, which was playing in the U19 RCL WA divison1 (2002 age group at the time), and I was a U17. This means that I was playing with and against players who were 2 years older than me. As of now, I am still on the A team at PacNW but in my 2004 age group, and I've grabbed some goals and have helped my team this fall 2021 to win the RCL WA D2 League title.
As the type of player I am, I would say I am a playmaker. I like to create chances and make something happen. I enjoy one v ones, I like to find/create space and cross/dribble the ball into dangerous areas.
As much as soccer is my passion, I also value an excellent education. I am proud to be the first generation from my family to be born in the US. I hope to become the second person in my family (after my sister) to attend a University and obtain a degree. With my 3.91 GPA, I feel much better about my academics, and I've decided to major in either pharmacy or electrical engineering. Apart from that, my passion for soccer comes from me, nobody else. I am motivated, and I want to stay focused on God, soccer, and academics.
As of February 13, 2020, Pacific Northwest SC was ranked 34th in the US's top 100 boys soccer clubs, according to soccer wire.
