[Update: Fall 2020, I am currently attending and playing soccer at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington] [Update: May 18, 2020, I had been recruited to play college soccer right out of high school, but I decided to take a gap year from college soccer for the 2019-2020 season to concentrate on my collegiate academics. I will be staying close to home and attending Eastern Washington University for my freshman year. I will continue training through club opportunities and intend to play college soccer Fall 2020.]--Personally, I’ve set very high goals for myself, dealing with my future education and my future soccer career. Playing soccer at the collegiate level has always been a long-time goal of mine. Aside from playing soccer in college, I also aspire to study in the medical field. Personally, I see a big future for myself post-college, so my education in high school and college is very important to me because this directly correlates with my future occupation and post college life. What separates me from other athletes is that I am very driven, both in school and on the field. In school, I also look to challenge myself with higher level classes, but at the same time maintaining a good GPA. On the field I’m always looking for ways to better myself as a player, and ways to better my team as a whole. This consists of reaching out to coaches at ID camps and asking for ways in which I can improve, and setting up extra practices with my teammates for more playing/practice time.
