Marco Silva '17 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Lisbon, Portugal and right after that moved to Angola where I actually started playing. At the age of 9 in 2008 I moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil, and there I started competing in school tournaments where it helped me develop in skill, earning me 3 golden medals, and 1 silver, until the end of the season in 2013.  In 2014 I came to the US to play for Wayland for my first year in varsity. I was a starter but did not get to play in my position, I played as a left back. My second year I got to play in my position as a striker and scored 25 goals and had 7 assists in 16 games of the season. During my summer vacations I go to Angola and practice at the club AFA with their U18 in order to keep my good form.
