Keegan Maxfield '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Keegan Maxfield and I am a 2025 midfielder from Green Bay, Wisconsin.  In the 1-4-4-3 system of play my preferred spot is the 8 though I have experience and proficiency at all midfield positions.  I sometimes also play at the 7 or 11.  I am passionate about soccer and am serious about my academics. I am seeking an opportunity to continue to pursue my love of soccer at the collegiate level. I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically while also having a strong soccer program that will help me improve on and off the field. I believe I would be a positive addition to any program because of my work ethic, steadiness, level of technical skill and IQ and my team-first approach to the game. I’ve been playing soccer as long as I can remember, and my love and appreciation of the game has continued to grow every year. I’ve played, enjoyed and been successful at multiple sports, but soccer is my love. I first played club soccer when I was 7 years old for a small local club and then moved to a larger one around 11 years old. I have been with that club ever since, helping my team continuously be promoted to higher levels of competition each year. Along my soccer journey I have improved my abilities, met new people and learned things about myself that I probably would have never found. I have learned how to be a teammate, a friend, and a leader. I have learned how to balance being a good student with participation in school and club athletics. I have learned how to be a good communicator whether that be with my coaches or my teammates. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to a collegiate soccer program while continuing to grow as a person.  I believe I would be a valued contributor on the field, in the locker room and in the classroom.
