Personal Statement

Hi my name is Ben Omernik I am 16 years old. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I have always been told that I am a very coachable player. I love getting critiqued by coaches so I can immediately fix my mistakes to make me a better overall player. I work hard on and off the field, playing by the words “practice like you play” so then I am never being lazy and cutting myself short for what I can learn. Off the field I do Crossfit daily to help me stay physically in shape. In school I have a 4.0 gpa and have taken AP government and politics and AP U.S. History. I strive to do the best I can in school and on the field everyday. My longterm goals have always been to play for a Division 1 college. From there I want to get my degree or move on to play for the MLS.
