Christian Lentz '20 Recruiting Profile

  I fell in love with soccer at a very young age. The intricate detail in every touch and pass, the quick thinking required and the non-stop tempo of each match is a feeling unlike any other. Throughout my life, soccer has created many friendships, connections and incredible moments. The highlight of my career by far was being a key piece of the 2017-18 UG Broncos Varsity Team, winning a record 15 games while earning our first ever state ranking at #8 in Wisconsin Division 2 Boys Soccer.  Just a handful of years earlier the program finished 0-22. 

    Moments such as these have shaped and molded my character throughout my years of playing soccer. Being broken down in moments of hardship have in turn formed my identity as a captain and role model for my peers on the field and in the classroom. I have been fortunate enough to have competed at the highest level, and to have been mentored by many great coaches such as US Men's Futsal head coach Keith Tozer. I'm looking for a program that will require me to perform at the highest standard possible, and a school that will challenge me academically. I know that I have what it takes to succeed in any setting. I believe I have the work ethic, character and leadership necessary to make an impact for any program. I am confident that I have the skills required to be a leader at the next level!
