Fernando Hernandez '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, it wasn't until I hit age 12 when I started doing ODP, since then I have aspired to play at the highest level of soccer. Playing college ball is not where I want my soccer career to end, I want to play at the level above collegiate, professionally. Playing professionally is my life goal, I've been told by my peers, family, and many coaches that if i put the effort and work in I will be playing at that level and I do have the work ethic to do so, soccer is my joy in life. On the field I am a very hard working athlete, I am a team player, I have the desire, passion, and love for the game. Everytime I touch the soccerball I always look to improve on my game, and I believe playing college ball will tremendously help with that and will help get me to the next level. A lot of people look up to me as a role model. My teammates see me as a key player on the field, I am a leader on and off the field.
Now Academically wise I am not at the top of my class I'm just a normal high school kid with regular classes. Yes my grades are very important to me, I messed up my junior year I tried my best but the outcome didn't turn out to what I wanted it to be, but I will work very hard my senior to get my grades where I want them to be which is above a 3.0. I will strive and work everyday until my goals are achieved.
