2016 CIF SS D1 Sw...I started competitive swimming in my freshman year of High School, and immediately I fell in love with it. I enjoy the thrill of the races and the time of hard work to achieve my goals. I appreciate my teammates, the team spirit, and most of all my great coach Mark Warkentin. I have always worked hard, never missing a single practice training 18 to 20 hours per week so that I reach my maximum potential
In 2015 as a sophomore, I was a member of the Dos Pueblos High School relay team who won 2 silver medals at D1 CIF in 4x100 free and 4x50 medley events. Since then I have won multiple individual medals in swimming championships.
Swimming taught me the values of discipline, commitment and working hard to pursue goals - something that also helped me to excel academically.
I would be thrilled to join a Division 1 college where I can be surrounded and grow together with people sharing the same aspirations as me.
