Amir Rashed '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amir Rashed. I am 5 feet 11 inches and weighing in about 175 lbs. I have been swimming for Stone Ridge, Merced, California. I am going on senior year so this will be my fourth year for swimming in Stone Ridge. I am more of a long distance swimmer, doing a 500 or an 800 etc. During the season, i was first to come to practice and never missing a practice. During my years in the Stone Ridge swim team, I was awarded Best Team Player in my freshman year, I received the Caches Award in my sophomore year and I received the MVP award in my junior year. I would like to go to a college anywhere in the 50 states, that would love to have swimmers and offer scholarships. But I am more into universities instead of JCs. Me desired major is political science/government, to become a lawyer. And lastly my athletic goal is to make an impact on the team, to become the best swimmer i can be, to make something out of swimming, and to be an insparation.
