Hi! My name is Nicholas (Nick) Gregory. I started swimming competitively in my freshman year of high school. After quickly discovering my love for swim, I joined a year round club, the Livermore Aquacowboys. In my sophomore year, while swimming with LAC, I swam varsity for Granada High School and made it to NCS for the 200 medley (10th place) and 400 free relay (14th place).
Presently, at the start of my junior year I am eager to see where my training and practice takes me. With the help of my coaches and team at LAC, I am continuously improving my times. I am a team player, I'm very coachable and my passion for the sport and the love I have for my team defines my very character. Swimming has become my life. I eat, sleep, and breathe swim and everything that encompasses it.
I will do everything in my power to maintain above a 3.0 GPA including using all the resources available to me, if necessary. As of now, my cumulative GPA is 3.4. I am currently taking an International Baccalaureate English Literature class to get ahead in preparation for college.
I intend to go to college on a swim scholarship to not only obtain an education, but to also perfect my swimming abilities and be a part of a successful swim team. I am looking forward to the camaraderie and being able to share my learned talents with others who seek it. My career goals are to do something in sports medicine and coach other swimmers.
