Garrett Stanley '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Garrett Stanley and I am a senior at Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Ft Myers, Fla.

I swim year round for Swim Florida, under coach Mac Kennedy, and on the Bishop Verot varsity swim team, under Coach/AD Jason Baumgardner for the past 4 years. This year Coach Baumgardner gave me the role of captain for the boys squad. I have attended the state championships every year and plan on medaling in 2018.  

I'm competitive by nature and when I set goals for myself I work hard to achieve them, whether in the classroom or in the pool.  

My collegiate goals are to swim fast and study hard.  I am interested in schools all across the country. I would enjoy being part of a school with a strong academic program, which also has a competitive swim team.  

I am looking forward to my college years and feel confident I will make an impact, both in and out of the water.
