I'm a junior at Redan High School in Stone Mountain, Ga. I've been swimming competitively since I was 4yrs old. Swimming has helped me learn to push my mental and physical barriers. It's taught me about dedication, self discipline, pride, and hard work in and out of the pool. Also, being a former Boy scout has taught me how to be a leader, not only in my leading those around me but also in my academics as well. As a swimmer, I realize time management is so important. Learning to manage swimming, academics, friends and family time has taught me more about time management. Some of my collegiate goals as a student athlete is to improve my stroke technique, improve my time and to help my collegiate swim team come out on top. My academic goal in college is to major in Environmental science and have a minor of accounting.
