I'm currently 6'0, 150 pounds and am pretty fast in the pool while I'm still learning and getting faster every day. My proudest accomplishment (club swimming) is the fact that I've qualified for States every year since I began swimming at the age of eight. Other proud achievements include qualifying for Northwestern Sectionals when I was 10, finishing first in the State in the 100M and 200M Backstroke in 2011-2013 while achieving Sectional and Jr Nats times in several events. Also winning 100 back and setting a 17-18 mens Hawaiian Record I bring to my team hard work, dedication, and encouragement while always keeping an upbeat and positive attitude. I pride myself on being a good student, always ready to learn. I've always had dreams of being able to continue my success in the pool at a college level while I earn my degree, and plan to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself. Just recently I broke a 6 year standing meet record at the Western OIA Championships and tied a 10 year high school state record as a Junior. I've recently achieved my short term goal of achieving Junior National Times and now find myself determined to continue to break all state records in the fly and back. So far all my success in the pool is a direct result of raw talent...pool training five days a week for one and a half hours. I've never had "dryland" sessions, lifted weights/worked out in a gym, or performed two a day sessions. Long term, I intend to graduate with honors where I'll continue to excel athletically and academically in college.
