Lucas Rettig '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lucas Rettig, I'm 17, and I'm a student at Rock Island High School.  I've been swimming competitively since I was eight years old, and even at that age, I'd always strive to make the highest level of competition possible.  Ever since I got a taste of what major swim meets were like and that college swimming was an option, I've been working hard to meet that goal. I love being a part of a group of people that bond together like a family and hope to grow that swimmer family in college. Although swimming is important to me, nothing is more important than maintaining good grades and striving to be the best person I can be in and out of the pool.
