Oliver Pope '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a proud member of Thanet Swim Club, a club located on the South-East coast of England and have been swimming competitively with them for 10 years. This year I was voted in as Club Captain and in this role I help to support, encourage and coach our younger swimmers. Swimming is my number one passion and occupies a huge amount of my time - I am a workhorse who strives to improve daily both in the pool and gym.  I have also worked hard outside of the pool to maintain high grades in the classroom.  I am looking forward to a new chapter in my swimming career and hope to push myself further, improving my times and honing my technique.  

I enjoy competing with my Club team-mates and try to do my very best in helping my team succeed with my positive attitude and my work ethic.  

I am looking for a University that will provide me with a challenging academic environment and will allow me to continue my swimming journey.
