Luis Bonetti '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm willing to outwork anyone and any hurdle that comes my way in order to reach my goals, but always putting the Team First. Class of 2022 at Carol Morgan School, Dominican Republic.

Played competitive soccer for the Barcelona Football Club (FCBESCOLA) for 2 years and we won 2 consecutive championships. At age 13 started swimming on the pre-team, but I wasn't satisfied and wanted to make myself better. So, I went for the 2018 summer program at Pinecrest Florida, and to Azura Florida training camp the next year. These experiences helped me to grow as an athlete and a person, by realizing how discipline, dedication and team work pays off.

I will be a great asset for your team, especially on relays, and 50-100-200 free/fly. I've got a lot of room for growth & eventually will become a top sprint athlete. I’ve been swimming competitively for only 2 years, and was named captain by the first year. On December 2019, finally got the opportunity to train with my new coach Jorge Rodriguez (cat 4 ASCA) and my times are immediately improving. For 2021 & 2022, we'll make greater adjustments in all my events, will compete in the US, and become one of the top 3 Dominican swimmers before high school graduation. By 2022 my GPA and swimming times will reflect the hard work and love I’m investing for my career and athletic aspirations. 

Finally my goal is to proudly represent my college, wining with my teammates, and getting the best education that'll be with me for the rest of my life.
