Hello, I am Nathan Pierce. I am a very competitive person by nature in all aspects of my life
including grades, swimming, games, and competitions. I have been swimming for a long time,
but I only started to do club swimming and get serious in this sport when I was about 15. Right
now my times are not the best by any means, and I still lack a bit of endurance, but I see myself
improving a lot in the near future. Currently I am looking to do a business degree but am still
open minded on other options. When it comes to team culture, I like a team that has a hard,
strong work ethic that maintains a fresh approach to practice. That way, even if we are doing a
set that is like something we have already done or work on the same thing as a another set it
still is slightly different to make you have to think about it (isn’t 100% needed just nice to have).
In college, I am aiming to and hoping to massively improve through my time in college
swimming. Also I understand I’m nowhere near the Olympic times now, but in 8 or so years you
never know. It’s also just nice to meet new people.
