Anthony Kopinski '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since I was 7 years old. It is my passion, and I want to be in the water everyday. When I graduate, I would like to continue swimming at the College level. I am still deciding on what my major will be, but am leaning towards the sciences. 

I am a good candidate for your team because I have an excellent work ethic. I show up everyday focused and ready to work. I consider myself a leader in my lane and on my team and I am highly coachable. In addition to my work ethic, I am a good student and have a straight A average. 

I qualified for my first State Championship meet at 8 years old, won my first state championship in the backstroke at 10, and have been working towards qualifying for larger meets beyond state level championships since then. I work with my coaches to set goals and work towards them. If I don't have my best meet, I want to know what I could have done better and work on it. My best stroke is the backstroke, but I also love the fly. I have been told I have a solid freestyle as well.
