Austin Andrews '11 Recruiting Profile

I'm about 6'2" 165 lbs. and I love swimming. I've only been swimming on and off since i was 14 so this is my fourth year, and this is the second year I've committed to swimming year-round. I'm very competitive in the water, always going for a best time. If I fail, I always can't wait to get back to practice and get faster and stronger. The size of the college doesn't matter much to me as long as I can swim for four more years! I've heard many college swimmers say the thing that they love most about swimming in college is the team atmosphere. They say championship meets are intensified because you're not just swimming for yourself. I come from a small high school and a fairly small club team, so I'm not used to swimming for my team as a whole in a points race and such. I would really love to experience that though!!!
