Emery Belasco '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since the age of 6. At first, I was doing it for the social aspect of it but quickly realized once I started committing time to the sport that it would be a lot more demanding, and I was ready to answer. Swimming has been a huge part of my life and I have loved the social aspect and the competitiveness going hand and hand with each other. Swimming has been a priority for some time now. 

I a dedicated competitive swimmer set to graduate high school in the spring of 2026. Passionate about the sport, I thrives in both daily practices and high-level competitions, including out-of-state meets like the Western Senior Zones in Saint George, where I love to swim fast and be with my friends and teamates. A natural leader on the team, I bring energy and encouragement, always cheering for teammates and fostering a strong team spirit. Specializing in the demanding 400 IM, I love to embrace the challenge of the event, showcasing endurance, technique, and determination in every race.

While swimming at a fast college would be a dream come true, academics also has a big presence in my life and is very important to me. I would like to find a school that challenges me academically and helps me to excel in the classroom.
