My name is Thomas Fitzpatrick and I am a scholar athlete. My collegiate goal is to graduate with a degree in Film and Media Production. My High School has a state of the art T.V. Studio and I work with my classmates to produce the "Morning Wave" each day which goes live and reports the news of the day. I am also involved in filming, producing and editing documentaries, short films and skits. I would love to swim at the college level and feel I would be an asset to any team. I am personable, hard working and always show good sportsmanship. I have been swimming competitively since I am 11 years old. Right now I swim for Long Island Aquatic Club (LIAC). I also have been swimming for Long Beach High School Boys Varsity Swim Team since I was in the 7th grade. With LIAC I practice 6 days a week so I am used to hard work and commitment. I have made great friends on my teams and we always support each other. In school I have a 90 average and 3.6 GPA and have successfully taken Honors, A.P., and I.B. classes. I am a member of the National Art Honor Society and the National Honor Society. These groups give me the opportunity to volunteer to tutor other students who are just learning editing techniques and to participate in various activities in my community to help others. My extra curricular activities include the Yearbook Club, Art Club and T.V. Studio Club. Last year I became a full time Town of Hempstead lifeguard and I am looking forward to the 2023 season as well. I used some of the money I earned to buy computer parts and then built my own desktop computer. In my free time I also enjoy surfing. As you can see I have a lot of interests and I am dedicated to performing well and doing my best.
