Beginning in my freshman year of high school, swimming became one of the main staples of my daily life. Not only did practicing everyday help make me a better swimmer, but it taught me respect for my coaches and peers, dedication to not only the sport but to schoolwork and other outside activities and most of all helped me manage my time in an efficient way.
Going into college for me is another opportunity to show my friends and coaches that I have more to show than I have already accomplished. I strive to be a leader on the team such as I was on my high school and club teams and I push my friends along with me to make sure they can be the best athletes possible. Swimming isn't just a big part of my life but it something I thoroughly enjoy and couldn't see my life without it.
