Benjamin Esarove '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Benjamin R. Esarove and my goal is to be a collegic swimmer. I give 110% at everything I do. I step up to be a leader when needed. I have loved swimming all my life. I love my teammates like family and am always in a good mood at the pool. I played basketball and football but slowly gave up other sports to focus on swimming in my sophmore year of high school. Covid came and strangely gave me the opportunity to really appreciate swimming and my abilities.  I enjoy working to better myself at every practice. Constructive criticism is always welcome because it allows me to look at my skills from another point of view so I can use that insight to improve my strokes. I am competitive in nature so everything I do is to get better. 

I recently promoted to Eagle Scout. It's taken me a long time and several leadership positions to accomplish this. I also currently have a 4.3 GPA and am leaning toward studying physical therapy or business in school.
