Cameron Mousley '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cameron Robert Mousley.  I have a genuine passion for swimming, and education.  I strive to work hard both in the classroom and in the pool.  Throughout my High School academic career, I have been focusing on getting good grades, so that I can pursue my dream of attending college.  Currently my High School does not have a Swimming Program, but I am able to participate through another local High School.  During my Freshman year in High School, I had the privilege of qualifying for Districts in the 200 Free.   It took a lot of dedication from my parents as well as myself to accomplish this achievement.  We had to travel to another High School for practices, and my parents had to provide transportation for me to all of the meets.  Through this, I know my determination and dedication to the sport of swimming has grown.  My goal growing up was to be able to swim at the High School level and beyond.  With my parents support, and my focus on working hard in the classroom, I am achieving that goal.

My hard work continued to pay off as a Sophomore, I was honored to qualify for Districts again.  As I continue to build on my Junior and Senior year, I am confident that my academic and athletic progress will continue to grow.

In searching for a school, I would like to find one where I can continue to grow as a student athlete. Even though my High School does not have a Swimming Program, I believe that I have shown the determination and dedication to be an asset to any swim program.
