Logan Amy '25 Recruiting Profile

I started swimming for my local YMCA swim team when I was 7 and fell in love with competitive swimming instantly. I’ve always loved the pool and the atmosphere that comes with it. I’ve swam all strokes very competitively over the years and have made it to states for YMCA every year since I was 9. I started swimming for my high school varsity team when I was in 9th grade and have specialized in the breaststroke. My goal this year is to swim under a minute in the 100 breaststroke. 

To be honest, my grades have always been the thing to hold me back, I’ve always struggled in school and the whole learning system. I feel I have finally figured it out this year and things are looking strong. I know my academics will hold me back from some opportunities but I’m hoping to find a collage to not only swim for but to be a part of a positive student body and to succeed academically.
