Ethan Joseph Whitehurst '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been a competitive swimmer since the age of 4 and have played water polo since the age of 10.  Every coach I have ever worked with, from the Head Coach to every assistant and volunteer coach, will tell you that I am a consistently positive and goal driven athlete and am extremely coachable.  I am always looking for ways to grow and improve as an athlete and as a person both in and out of the pool.  Listening to and implementing coaching feedback is key to my success as an athlete and I have a tremendous amount of respect for all of my coaches.  I appreciate and apply all feedback. I give 100% effort, focus and dedication to every practice, every dryland session, every polo match and every swim race.  I also mentor new and younger athletes to our teams. I consistently demonstrate team pride and respectful sportsmanship at all times both in the water and on the pool deck.  I had the honor of being voted Varsity Swim Team Captain as a Junior. My hard work in the classroom also is reflected in my academic honors and awards, GPA, and consistently positive comments from teachers and administrators in the Pennridge School District.  I am hoping to find a collegiate sports experience to further grow as a scholar, an athlete and as an individual.
