Personal Statement
Swimming is my passion and I equally enjoy training and competing. I swim competitively year-round with my USA Swimming Club, Racer X Aquatics. I respect and enjoy working with my coach and pride myself on working hard to accomplish my goals while maintaining a positive attitude. When I’m not training, I take my academics seriously, achieving honor roll grades while taking advanced classes in a rigorous school district. In my spare time, I enjoy playing chess and volunteering. I have earned over 40 hours of community service during my sophomore year of high school and plan to continue to volunteer at that level throughout my remaining high school years. My goal is to continue my academic and swimming careers at the collegiate level. I want to attend a college that allows me to be impactful on the swim team as a freshman while providing me an opportunity to study business.
